Our Story

About

Redbird.Aero is an emergency medical supply and remote health support aeromedical aircraft company. Redbird's mission is deeply rooted in the experience and expertise of its founders. Redbird was established by two accomplished individuals, a former Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18 pilot and a former Australian Army helicopter pilot, both of whom have spent their lives serving Australia and helping those in need.

Driven by their collective knowledge and shared passion for aviation innovation and humanitarian aid, Redbird was conceived to address critical gaps in two vital domains: emergency medical supply and remote health relief efforts.

At the founders' core is a fervent desire to provide support and relief, searching for ways to help humanity in the face of adversity and disastrous events.

In April 2025, Redbird Aero was acquired by Skyports Drones Services (UK), the global leader in drone delivery and inspection services for healthcare, maritime, logistics and energy use cases.
